Chesil Beach - Portland Harbour is a fabulous asset to the Jurassic Coast, Weymouth Bay was already a great natural harbour and offered sailing boats safe anchoring in South Westerly gales prior to the contruction of the sea walls but since their construction the harbour is one of the largest and safest on the South Coast.
